     Game Design Document


Invasion Scale (working title) is a real-time strategy game. The game has unique art (by Vladimir Wong) and great game-play. These are the core features of the game:

Lore
The game is set in the future, during an alien invasion of Earth. The armies of mankind fight for the survival of Earth and it's outposts.




Game-play
Players would set which troops will spawn at the base, the barracks or machine depot will start producing those units. The player can then choose which battle formation his troops will take. Your Commander and troops then charge into battle. The players troops will be controlled by AI, while the player focuses on using his Commander and calling in support.


Story Mode
A single-player campaign would follow the alien invasion of Earth and mankind's last stand against them. There may also be additional mission packs following the journey of commando units.



Multi-player Modes
Payload

Deliver a massive bomb to the enemy.
Take and Hold

Capture all strategic points on a map.
Survival

Survive many waves of attacks, until backup arrives.



Skill Needed
